Larry G. Maguire

Work & Organisational Psychologist | AI Trainer | Founder, GenAI Skills Academy

MSc. Org Psych., BA Psych., M.Ps.S.I., M.A.C., R.Q.T.U

Dublin 2, Ireland

Larry is a Work & Organisational Psychologist and AI trainer who helps professionals and organisations develop the skills they need to integrate AI in the workplace effectively. Drawing on over two decades in electronic systems integration, business ownership, and studies in human performance and organisational behaviour, he operates in the space where technology meets people. He is a lecturer in organisational psychology, a career and business coach, and runs GenAI Skills Academy from offices in Dublin 2.

Larry founded GenAI Skills Academy in 2023 after two decades running businesses in electronic systems integration. The academy now delivers practical AI training to business owners, teams, and professional services across Ireland and Northern Ireland, with over 1,000 people trained in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, education, construction, retail, hospitality, and professional services.

Academically, Larry is a Master's-qualified work and organisational psychologist and a BPS-registered psychometrician qualified at Test User Occupational level. His applied focus is the intersection where AI deployment meets organisational behaviour — why teams adopt new tools or quietly revert, how leadership decisions shape adoption outcomes, and what training has to look like to move a business forward rather than just to fill a certificate. He lectures in organisational psychology and writes regularly on AI, the future of work, and the human dimension of technological change.

Alongside the training practice, Larry builds the AI Business OS — a deployable operating layer that lets organisations put AI to work inside their actual workflows. The work that informs the AI Business OS is the same work that informs the training: real client engagements in legal, property, professional services, and education across Ireland. When something works at a client site, it ends up in the training material. When something does not, the client (and the room) hears that too.
